The easiest way to find the right size for your watch band is by looking at the watch band you are trying to replace. Take a look at the interior of your watch band. You may find a number there. If you see any numbers (such as 18, 20, 22, for example) that is the size of your band in millimeters (or mm). Make sure to find a replacement band that is the same size as the band you are trying to replace.

 If your band does not have the number printed on it, then you should measure the width of the band to see how wide it is. Measure the distance from one edge of the band to the other to get the width of the band. Make sure to use to conversion chart below to find out the size of your band in millimeters. Watch band sizes are always shown in millimeters. Make sure to use a measuring gauge if it is available.

Watch band width size measures the distance between the two prongs on the watch case. This value is measured in millimeters. If your watch band is measured in inches, use the following chart to determine the watch band width in millimeters.

When shopping for watch bands you'll often find the words genuine skin, genuine exotic skin, or something of that variation. Genuine skin means it is the skin of the animal that is mentioned. For example, genuine crocodile skin is from a crocodile, genuine lizard skin comes from a lizard. These genuine skins are sought after for their delicate and unique designs. They'll often come in more saturated colors and have a finer and glossier polish. Because they originate from animals, they will each have their own natural variation in texture and design. This adds to their sophisticated look.

Embossed leather watch bands are made from cow leather. The watch band above is our Leather Blue Crocodile Grain Watch Band. They emboss the calfskin with animal prints to create the look of animal skin without the cost. They are a good option for people looking to mix up their variety without breaking the bank. It just depends on what look you're going for and how much you'd like to spend.

Here at Tech Swiss, we often get asked about Quick Change or Quick Release watch bands. Most of the time, the question is, "What are Quick Change Watch Bands?" These are bands that have built-in spring bars that can be removed without tools. Spring bars are the small metal pieces that connect leather bands to the watch case. Sometimes, these pins are integrated into the design of the band, making them easy to remove with your fingers. Quick Change bands do not need a spring bar removing tool to be removed.

The lever is raised slightly above the watch band to allow you to remove the spring bar with your finger. No tools required! Quick change bands are great for anyone who wants to change the style of their band on a regular basis. Hence the name, Quick Change!

A common question we get here at Tech Swiss, is if our watch boxes are large enough to fit XL or large faced watches.
